The Blue Coffee Presentation of Innovations for Hospitality Projects.

The Blue Coffee; interior design Project for hospitality business, made by the general manager of our contract furniture firm, in an experimental mode by the petition of a client in New York to develop a new cafeteria franchise idea.

Francisco Segarra with his visionary aesthetic vision it’s been the sole creator of the new business , from the commercial name, The Blue coffee; based on the ¨theory of the blue ocean¨; to the last detail of the interior ; a space that shows one actual and cosmopolitan image.

All the decorative pieces of furniture used in the project, are located in the showroom of our firm in Castellón, these are vintage and industrial of Francisco Segarra. Some are emblematic like the old Chester sofa, the industrial recuperated lamps of old factories and old carpenter beams on top of the bar.

The tiles collection of traditional ceramics in red paste, designed by Francisco Segarra, with veined woods in the floors and the beams in the roof and metal sheets make a space that transmit aura and a well-being sensation.

Old scales, phones and old globes decorate the premises, next to the shabby carpenter’s bench; whose marked wood shows the wear and tear produced by long years of work and serves as a bar top.

Pieces of great aesthetic value such as the original fluffy and comfortable chester sofas, with skin tanned over time and customized by Francisco Segarra himself, with seats upholstered with high-quality Sanderson fabrics provide the touch of glamour.

Giving with proper lighting was important, so large curtains covering the windows were chosen so that industrial lamps rescued from old factories provided dim lighting to the space, enriched with light points such as the candles of the Victorian-era fireplace and the lamps of the Second Life collection.

A collection that is the greatest exponent of eco-design and where the raw material is seen in antique, reinvented, rare and unique objects, where their old appearance is not disguised, but is part of its charm; transforming into original floor and table lamps that in The Blue Coffee illuminate our moments of leisure.

Every detail is taken care of, such as industrial fans or switches in antique porcelain.

The entire project for the new business has innovative proposals such as the elimination of visual reference, a functional but unsightly part of leisure facilities, the kitchen. It is hidden behind the doors of old closets.
