The Garage, pop up space designed by Francisco Segarra, after competing with 986 applicants reaches the 217 finalists Shortlist face each other in different categories of the competition. and only 5 spanish firms including Francisco Segarra.
For its prestige and influence, the event has obtained worldwide recognition and is followed by the creative community and the media. The best architects in the world, prestigious interior design studios and establishments hospitality sector, are awaiting a large group of judges who gathers the most influential people in the world of design, architecture, contract and Lifestyle. They bear the difficult task of recognizing and rewarding the excellence in the design of spaces between the selected candidates.
To find ourselves among the finalists in the eighth edition of the prestigious Restaurant & Bar Design Awards is a recognition for our furniture firm and decor that always bet on innovation, uniqueness and outstanding design.
The Garage, competes in the category of pop ups and staging, it was designed by Francisco Segarra for Peronda Group in the last edition of Cevisama.
An ephemeral space contemplated under the prism of the “pop up stores” and aesthetics of a grand luxury mall with neoclassical facades integrating a confluence of exhibition spaces where the best international designers showcased their products in the various galleries, boutiques or shops.
Of the 450 total m2 of space, 135 went to the presentation of the hit series “FS by PERONDA” collection of wall and floor tiles, the result of the collaboration of the known tile manufacturer signature and vintage interior furnishings designer Francisco Segarra .
The ceramic boxes decorated with white base and a range of pavements, filled with paste by the cement; They formed an industrial space dominated by black, aqua and other tones. Beams, columns and partitions gave way to an innovative pop up space in the monograph, surprised the most important event in Spain in the ceramic sector.
A pop up mixed within the aesthetic uniformity of the exhibition halls with a seating area for exhausted visitors, industrial furniture, fixtures anachronistic from te catalogue of Francisco Segarra.
Culminating the project, details, props, these mechanical parts were scrapped, rolled tires, battered lockers, jerry cans and tools. Objects that contribute to an atmosphere where there was no lack of an emblematic food truck waiting his turn in the pit of the workshop.
These awards extol the products, unpublished services and bold ideas, put in value the work and creativity of great professionals and the couple of businesses and establishments in the food, equipment and services and catering industries, Foodservice; fostering collaboration, since the submission of the application must be made together between the performer and the client project.
We hope to share success with our partner Peronda Group at the awards ceremony on 29th of September at the Old Truman Brewery in London, where the names of the winners will be revealed in different categories.
